Trinidadian soprano and Young Concert Artist Jeanine De Bique. Winner of the Paul A. Fish First Prize in the 2008-09 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, Ms. De Bique gave debut recitals in the Young Concert Artists Series at Merkin Concert Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. She was Artist-in-Residence with the Basel Opera in Switzerland during the 2009-10 season, where she sang "Kate Pinkerton" in Madam Butterfly, "Barberina" in Le nozze di Figaro and "Sophie" in Werther. "From the moment she stepped on stage it was apparent to the large audience that she has genuine star quality," wrote The New York Amsterdam News of soprano Jeanine De Bique, about her New York debut.
