The monthly French Cinémathèque series at the Avalon Theatre, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, presents the screening of Saint Laurent by Bertrand Bonello.

Focusing on the decade from 1967 to 1976 in French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent’s life and career, Bertrand Bonello’s latest feature tells the story of a man turning into a myth, a brand, and an avatar of his era. The film portrays the iconic fashion designer by confronting him to his inner turmoil and the times that swirled around him.
