The Embassy of the Czech Republic, in collaboration with the Embassies of Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary, present the exhibition romarisingV4 by photographer Chad Evans Wyatt, on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 6 pm.

The exhibition romarisingV4 features 40 portraits of successful Roma from Visegrad Four (V4) countries  – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. The black and white photographs counter stereotypical images of the Roma, revealing vibrant individuals excelling in their careers. They are a powerful testament of courage in the face of prejudice.

“My hope is that majorities everywhere will come to understand that these people are treasure, talents of vast ability,” said photographer Chad Evans Wyatt.
