The new music collective INTERFERENCE, in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the American University Museum at Katzen Arts Center, present French and American Music, the 2015 second performance as a part of the Connected: Music in the Museum concert series.

Formed in 2015 by composer and curator Steve Antosca with William Brent, a computer music specialist, and cellist Nancy Jo Snider, INTERFERENCE promotes the presence of new music at American University and in Washington, DC by focusing on the use of technology in composition and performance.

The concert series intends to bridge the experience gap between the classroom and the performance environment by exploring technology as a stepping stone in the evolving language of music.

This is a free admission concert open to the public.
