The Northern Ireland Bureau and Solas Nua are pleased to invite you to a special piano recital by acclaimed Belfast composer Philip Hammond. 

The piano recital will be on Sunday, March 11th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The venue is the Sitar Arts Center, 1700 Kalorama Rd NW, #101, Washington DC. 

Philip Hammond created his Miniatures and Modulations suite of compositions based on Edward Bunting's collection of the Ancient Music of Ireland (1796). The pieces were commissioned by the 2011 Belfast Festival at Queen's University. The compositions have been described as "wonderfully entertaining".
