The European Month of Culture (EUMC) brings the best of European culture to Washington, DC during the entire month of May!
The flagship EU Open House will be held May 12, when along with the 27 EU embassies and the EU Delegation we will open our doors to the public and offer info on Greece, culinary treats, music, dance and lots more! On May 3rd we will officially open the photo exhibition"Archaeological Site of Philippi: A Landmark of European Heritage" about the walled city of Philippi, founded in 356 BC by the Macedonian King Philip II. The Site was included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Monuments in 2016. The exhibition will be on display at the Embassy until June 1, 2018.
