Join us for the screening of the first installment in our SUMMER SERIES!
The first film in the Sissi Trilogy follows the early life of princess Elisabeth of Bavaria as she enters into the extravagant world of royalty. The film begins with Sissi traveling from Possenhofen Castle to Bad Ischl, Austria, with her comical mother and demure sister. While the meaning of the visit is to arrange marriage between Franz Joseph I of Austria to Sissi’s sister, the unknowing Sissi meets Franz Joseph on accident and they eventually fall in love. This sends Sissi into a hurricane of conflict -- will Sissi’s loyalty to her sister win out over her love for Franz Joseph?

The film will be shown in German with English subtitles.
