The first romantic of the Río de la Plata was misunderstood. Manuel Belgrano was not in the military and must have played an unexpected role. In addition to being an advanced intellectual, he was responsible for political and social changes that were frowned upon by the most rancid of Buenos Aires society. He also did not meet the norms of masculinity of his time: he was not authoritarian or pushy. On the contrary, he was a sensitive, refined, elegant man.
Florencia Canale was born in Mar del Plata and studied Literature at “Universidad de Buenos Aires”. As a journalist, she worked in many publications: Noticias, Living, Gente, Siete Días, Veintitrés, Infobae, among others.
