The Italian Cultural Institute of Washington presents "ORA. The limits of the planet", an animation project for videomapping and soundtrack, directed by Francesca Pasquinucci and Davide Giannoni of Imaginarium Studio, with music by Puccini, Castelnuovo – Tedesco, Rota, Respighi, played by pianist Giorgio Martano, and real "sounds" from Space and deep Earth.
This extraordinary multimedia presentation addresses themes linked to climate change, loss of environment awareness, and the harmonious relationship between Space and Earth.
"ORA. The limits of the planet" is a photograph of contemporaneity and, at the same time, an open artistic adventure. This visual and sound experience allows the spectator to interpret freely the efficacy and impact of human actions on their present, their future, and the future of generations to come. The video mapping and soundtrack engage in real-time with the pianist on stage, telling a story about the historical, scientific, and philosophical links between humans and Nature, with a profound emotional effect.
